10'th Grade PBL Project
For our guernica painting the topic our group has chosen was how the government is taking away our individually and how they are oppressing us. We incorporated ideas from other classes because in world literature we are watching and reading books about oppression and discrimination, also in geometry we are learning about shapes and had a lesson about the guernica painting and what elements of art that are used in the painting. The project is related to the guernica and cubism because we are using cubist styles and we are also incorporating designs of the guernica in the painting because of the shading and the abstractness. Something I could improve with this project is the colors combinations that our group used when shading, I also think that we could have left some areas a solid color instead of shading everything.
