Oregon Mental Health Counseling

Oregon Mental Health Services (OMHS), LLC is pleased to announce a partnership with the Dodgeville School District to provide school-based mental health services!  OMHS is based in Oregon, WI and has a branch office in Dodgeville, located in the Community Connections Free Clinic. Therapists from OMHS will be available to see students who are in need of greater support than school counselors or other staff can provide.

Mary Sella, Director of OMHS, developed a school-based services model in the Oregon School District over the last five years to increase frequency and consistency of mental health treatment for children and teens; reduce time away from school to attend appointments; and eliminate the need for parents to miss work in order to bring their child to a clinic. Mary and the OMHS staff believe that replicating this model in Dodgeville and other Southwestern Wisconsin school districts will result in greater access to mental health treatment and increase acceptance of treatment for mental health conditions.

Students who may benefit from school-based mental health services are identified by parents and school staff then connected with an OMHS therapist who can best meet their needs.  Information is available from Dodgeville school counselors and student services staff, as well as from OMHS by calling 608-835-5050.

For more information about school based mental health services or to make a referral, please contact your student’s school counselor.
