Our Mission

Our mission is to provide Pearsontown with a school counseling program that will maximize the academic, social, and emotional development of each student. We will be intentional in our daily work to help create an environment where equitable practices are supported, all students have access to an enriching and safe learning environment, and every student is provided the opportunity to succeed. By nurturing the collaboration between school, home, and community, we will generate opportunities that assist students in discovering, enhancing, and embracing their own interests, strengths, and talents. Through guidance and exploration, students will be inspired to turn their dreams into sustainable lifetime goals.

Our Vision

Students at Pearsontown are leaders, creative problem-solvers and collaborative workers who are globally aware and developed to be responsible citizens. School Counselors of Pearsontown will be a support resource for all students, families and staff to ensure that students become college and career ready, employ healthy social and emotional skills, and develop prosperous academic strategies. Students will leave Pearsontown Elementary as productive, collaborative, life-long learners who contribute positively to their communities and recognize their potential.
