Peer Group Connections (PGC) (This is only offered to rising Juniors and Seniors)
Would you like to develop leadership skills, be a role model for younger students, and make a difference at Northern High School? If so, then you might be a good candidate to become a Peer Group Connection (PGC) peer leader!
PGC is more than a course; it is a life-changing experience. Interested students will apply to the program and go through a selection process that includes an application, group interview, and faculty recommendations. If you’re selected for PGC, you’ll become a peer leader and will receive training in group facilitation, leadership, and communication skills, which will enable you to conduct outreaches with younger students about issues facing teens today.
