Meet the Teachers
Hello Lakewood Families! I am Meredith Walker, the AIG Specialist for 3, 4, and 5th grades. I was previously a 4th grade teacher here at Lakewood and am excited and looking forward to my new role! I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cheering on the Saint Louis Cardinals, and baking.
Hello Lakewood Families! I am Heidi Miles, the AIG Enrichment Teacher in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd! I teach whole class enrichment lessons once a week fostering thinking skills and pulling small groups. I previously taught in K-2nd classes. I got my Masters in Education from NC State and my AIG certification from Duke University. Lastly, a little about me! I love to read, travel, visit family and friends, go on road trips, eat ice cream, create, cuddle with my cats and hike with my husband and our two dogs, Bonnie and B.B.
