Durham Public Schools is pleased to release the funding application for certified teachers and school counselors wishing to apply for National Board Certification or Maintenance of Certification. Individuals may be reimbursed for:
$75 registration fee paid during this school year; and/or
Reimbursement for the $475 fee for submitting one component this school year ($495 for maintenance); and/or
Reimbursement for the $475 fee ($495 for maintenance) for one additional component after receiving National Board Certification (or Maintenance) in December 2024.
Funding is limited to 100 people for each phase of reimbursement.
Please click on this link to access the application. Applicants will be required to upload evidence of payment or submission in order to receive reimbursement. In addition, applicants will need to get a vendor number from their school’s treasurer and include it on the application.
