As we move into the final stretch of the academic year, there are several exciting events and initiatives I'd like to highlight. I am delighted to bring you the latest updates and happenings from DPS Lava.

Utkarsham(Junior): We're thrilled to announce that our little stars from the Pre-primary section donned their caps and gowns for a heartwarming graduation ceremony. It was a momentous occasion to celebrate their growth, achievements and readiness to embark on their journey into formal primary education.

Growth Gurus (Leadership Teambuilding Session): Building leadership skills and fostering teamwork are integral parts of our educational ethos. Our Coordinators and HODs recently participated in an engaging leadership teambuilding session where they honed their collaborative abilities, problem-solving skills and communication techniques. The school’s processes and programs were revisited and new initiatives were ideated. We're proud to witness their growth as leaders and team players.

Green School Award: We're thrilled to announce that DPS Lava has been honoured with the prestigious Green School Award. This recognition reflects our commitment to environmental sustainability and eco-conscious practices. We're dedicated to instilling environmental stewardship in our students and creating a greener, more sustainable future.

Camp Lava: The summer camp for pre-primary begins on 1st April 2024. The summer camp for senior students begins on 15th April 2024. This year, we're bringing you an exciting lineup of activities that promise endless fun and learning opportunities for students of all ages.

Final Assessments in April: As we approach the end of the academic year, it's essential to remind our students about the upcoming final assessments scheduled for April. These assessments provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning and consolidate their knowledge from the academic year. We encourage students to utilize this time effectively for revision and preparation.

I am sharing a few tips for the final assessments.

Create a Study Schedule: Help your child create a study schedule that allocates sufficient time for revision of all subjects.

Practice Regularly: Encourage regular practice and revision of concepts to ensure retention and understanding.

Stay Organized: Ensure that study materials, notes and resources are well-organized to facilitate efficient studying.

Stay Healthy: Remind your child to maintain a healthy lifestyle with proper nutrition, adequate sleep and regular exercise to support concentration and cognitive function.

Seek Help When Needed: Encourage your child to seek clarification from teachers or peers if they encounter difficulties with any concepts.

As we gear up for these exciting events and academic endeavours, let's continue to work together as a community to support our student's growth and success.
