Classroom Celebrations and Birthdays

School-wide classroom celebrations are as follows:

• Birthday Celebrations (each trimester)

• Halloween/Fall Costume Parade

• Winter Celebration

• Valentine's Day/Friendship Day Celebration

• End of Year Celebration

Birthdays are a joyous time at Willow. 

We celebrate birthdays thus:

• At Willow, we do not do individual birthday celebrations.  Please do not send your child with treats for the class on their birthday.

• However, on the day of your child's birthday, you are invited to sign up to come in and read a book to the class in his/her honor during our read-aloud time. 

• Rather than have individual birthday celebrations, Willow classrooms host a birthday celebration each trimester for all the children who have had birthdays during the preceeding trimester.  Your child's birthday will be celebrated in class during this time.
