ELA-S Teacher
Welcome to an exciting new school year! My name is Saira Caicedo and I am so thrilled to be your Reading teacher. Education is my absolute passion, and I am proud to bring my Colombian heritage, a Bachelor’s in Education, and my ongoing Master’s studies in Special Education into our classroom as I begin my ninth year as an educator. When I’m not in school, you can usually find me reading a good book, traveling, enjoying a great cup of coffee, watching movies, or spending quality time with my family.
I firmly believe that every student has a unique voice and the potential to become a confident, lifelong learner. Reading opens doors to new worlds, and my goal is to foster an inclusive, supportive environment where every child feels empowered to take creative risks and grow at their own pace. Success in the classroom thrives on strong partnerships, so I deeply value open communication with families. Together as a team, we can ensure your child feels encouraged, celebrated, and inspired every single day.
