Denver Public Schools delivers Signs of Suicide programming to all 6th and 9th grade students in order to decrease suicide and suicide attempts, encourage personal help-seeking, and reduce the stigma of mental illness. Students participate in the SOS curriculum during the fall semester.
In addition to Signs of Suicide, seniors also receive a booster session during senior workshops in the spring. This workshop includes information on how to access mental health supports after high school as well as a viewing of the video "It's more than sad." Below you can access the slides:
