If you have one of the following courses on your schedule for next school year please follow the instructions to apply to CCA:

CE Ethnic Studies/CE Sociology 

CE Mat 1240 Math for Lib Arts / CE Mat 1260 Intro to Stats

CE Creative Writing/CE English 1021

You (or your student) have selected a concurrent enrollment course at GW next year. 

These are courses at GW, where you earn both high school and college credit. Follow the directions attached below to complete the Community College of Aurora application. You will need your social security number, if you have one to complete the application. (Do not send me your social security number.)

A couple of notes: Please make sure to check the box to apply for the COF (College Opportunity Fund), as this covers some of the tuition. 

There are two steps to the application. 

1. Create an account

2. Apply to Community College of Aurora for the fall of 2025 (this is a multiple page process, continue to click next until you submit your application)

3. Submit your Community College of Aurora Student number on this link. 

You will get an e-mail back with your CCA Student Number (S0……). It may take a day or two. Please submit your CCA Student Number here for our records. Your schedule will change and you will be dropped from the class if you do not apply to the Community College of Aurora. 

Just so you are aware, this course will go on your high school and Community College of Aurora transcript.

Estudiantes y Padres,

Ustedes (o su estudiante) han seleccionado un curso de inscripción concurrente en GW para el próximo año.
Estos son cursos en GW donde se obtienen créditos tanto para la preparatoria como para la universidad. Sigan las instrucciones adjuntas a continuación para completar la solicitud para el Community College of Aurora antes del 30 de mayo. Necesitarán su número de seguro social, si tienen uno, para completar la solicitud. (No me envíen su número de seguro social).

Recibirán un correo electrónico con su número S# (S0……). Puede tardar uno o dos días. Por favor, envíenme su número de estudiante de Community College of Aurora aqui. Su horario cambiará y serán dados de baja del curso si no completan la solicitud al Community College of Aurora.
Para que lo tengan en cuenta, este curso aparecerá tanto en su historial académico de la preparatoria como en el del Community College of Aurora.
