Talent Pool Designation (TP)

Students with the Talent Pool (TP) designation means that there is some evidence that shows potential for growth, but there is not yet enough qualifying evidence for formal identification. 

Most students are exited from the Talent Pool after three years if there is not enough evidence for a formal Gifted identification. Students can always be placed back into the Talent Pool if qualifying data arises after the initial exit.

Students who have the TP designation are not eligible to “choice-in” to any HGT magnet programs.

Students with this designation do not receive an Advanced Learning Plan (ALP).
