We know it can oftentimes be difficult and overwhelming to know where to go for help. 2-1-1 Colorado streamlines services and provides one central location where people can get connected to the resources they need. With a database that is updated daily, 2-1-1 Colorado can connect you to critical resources simply by dialing a three-digit number. Whether you are searching for shelter availability, childcare, or rent payment assistance – 2-1-1 can connect you to available resources in your community.

The Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Center is a community resource center that connects students, families and our community with free services to increase their economic self-sufficiency and academic success. All services and classes are free to community members 16 and older — not just DPS parents.
Services include:
GED classes in English
Employment services, including writing a resume, job searching, and interview skills
Support accessing employment through DPS
Computer skills
Citizenship classes
Classes to learn English and Spanish
Financial coaching
Energy Outreach Assistance
Basic needs assistance, including referrals to Denver Human Services and community agencies
Social-emotional support services
Health and nutrition workshops
Early childhood literacy classes
Parenting workshops
Interested participants are encouraged to call FACE Center (720-424-2970) to learn more about the classes and services offered for free!

Food Bank of the Rockies provides food and necessities to people in need through signature programs and by teaming up with hundreds of Hunger Relief Partners to serve communities across Colorado and Wyoming, the largest food bank coverage area in the contiguous United States. They believe that for a community to thrive, every member must have the resources they need to flourish, and we strive to provide equitable access to proper nourishment for all.

Libby is a free app where you can borrow ebooks and digital audiobooks from your public library. You can stream books with Wi-Fi or mobile data, or download them for offline use and read anytime, anywhere. Books are automatically returned on their due date so no need to stress about missing the due date. All you need to get started is a library card!

Khan Academy is an American non-profit educational organization created in 2006 by Sal Khan, with the goal of creating a set of free online tools that help educate students. The organization produces short lessons in the form of videos. Its website also includes supplementary practice exercises and materials for educators.
