This week commenced with an exploration into advancements and innovations in technologies in the realm of travel and navigation. We delved into the profound impact of transportation advancements in connecting diverse cultures and communities. Divided into groups of three, we formulated guiding questions to delve deeper into these topics, utilizing library books, iPads, and newspapers for research.

We inquired about factors that were responsible for the advancements in travel and navigation and delved into the underlying reasons and influences that drove the evolution of travel and navigation methods. We explored the social, economic, technological, and environmental factors that propelled advancements in transportation systems.
Continuing our journey, we turned our attention towards change in navigation systems. We marveled at the evolution of technology within the 21st century and how these advancements have revolutionized the way we navigate the vast expanse of our planet. Through inquiry and investigation, we explored innovative solutions and enhanced capabilities that reshaped travel, exploration, and our understanding of the world.
We examined how improved infrastructure and mobility facilitated greater opportunities for cultural exchange, trade, communication, and interaction among people from different regions and cultures.
We created visually engaging posters that encapsulated our understanding of the evolution of travel and navigation. These posters served as representations of the concepts we uncovered, showcasing the interplay of causation, change, and connection in the development of travel and navigation. With enthusiasm, we shared our insights with our fellow group members, fostering meaningful discussions and expanding our collective understanding.
The week commenced with a guest speaker session led by students from Tech Titans and Tech-Naut group. They shared their findings about the use of artificial intelligence in travel and navigation. We further investigated the role of AI in making travel and navigation easier and more accessible. We created posters and presentations using the ICT tool Canva to present our understanding to our peers.
Moving our inquiry further we shared our perspective about
· The sustainability of electric vehicles
· Use of autonomous vehicles on land, water and air
· Use of navigation apps
We worked in groups to discuss our viewpoints and created posters showcasing the
different perspectives.
We attempted a formative assessment, showcasing our understanding of the different opinions on advancements in travel and navigation through persuasive
writing.
