What is a Personalized Learning Plan?
Ultimately, a PLP is a tool. It can help us get to know our students better and teach us how to support each student’s learning.
PLPs can also be:
A creative way for students to show their identities, hopes, and interests
A portfolio documenting students’ learning journeys.
Demonstrations of growth and achievement, both in and out of school.
Multimedia representations of learning.
Personally meaningful and fulfilling for students.
Jam packed with reflection and self-assessment.
Collaboratively developed by students, families, educators, and community partners.
