Billie and Sabrina's Top Gun Tips
I don't want to do the Top Gun Challenge so what do I do?
Simple. Learn how to fly multiple planes and finish multiple activities within the game. Learning the basics would be a good idea to start, especially to help learn the controls and to help with landing!!
SMART Goals and Flight Simulator
Flight Simulator is a unique project in our STEM lab because it doesn't require that you make a product. With this in mind, you need to think a little differently about writing your SMART goal. I've listed a few ideas that you could use for your SMART goal in this engagement. Obviously I assume that you will take these ideas and make your own SMART goal that is interesting to you...
Complete a set number "Activities". Make sure to be specific about which ones!
Choose a specific aircraft, starting airport and ending airport and complete your own flight mission.
Choose a flight
Create a presentation showing the science behind flight or the basics of using flight simulator.
Documenting Your Progress
Since you are using a Windows computer, you can't do the typical CMD+SHIFT+4 to take a picture. Instead you'll need to use one of the two options below:
Snipping Tool - This is an application that can be opened from the Windows Start Menu. Once you open it, you merely need to click on the window you want a picture of and it will take a screenshot for you. You'll need to then save the picture to the desktop (or your server folder) by clicking on the save icon.
