What's the Unity Game Engine?
Have you ever wondered how games like Call of Duty or Batman: Arkham City are produced? Many of the popular games you might play on Playstation and Xbox are created using a game engine such as Unreal Game Engine or Unity Game Engine. These software tools allow game designers to make their imaginations come to life. You'll have the opportunity to try out using one of the most popular game engines available, Unity. Be warned, this project is one of the most difficult ones in our STEM lab.
Take a look at examples of how the kinds of work professional game and animation designers can create using the same tools that you have in the STEM lab! Don't worry, we'll start off much simpler.
