Shapegrams are pictures that are designed to be recreated using shapes, lines, and colors. Replicating the pictures helps develop and practice visual observation, spacial awareness, logical reasoning, critical thinking, increase technology skills, develop digital drawing abilities, and cultivate a growth mindset
Shapegrams are packaged inside Google Drawings documents. Google Drawings is free and the same drawing tools can be found in Google Slides. Itβs easy for teachers to modify a Google Drawings document to meet their needs, and itβs simple for students to get their own copies.Β

Zippers are digital drawing challenges that can be completed in a matter of minutes. Each Zipper has a picture to recreate and drawing tips. They supplement the Shapegrams scope and sequence and are a great way for students to practice between Shapegrams Lessons.
