The 12th grade weekly performance review is meant to expose you to a more professional working environment within the DPEA. Your mentor(s) will assess your weekly productivity. There are various ways that you'll exhibit productive behavior , such as maintaining focus for the duration of a class period, performing weekly maintenance tasks, communicating professionally with peers and staff, and more.
You will also add portfolio content to showcase weekly project photos and learning moments.
Explore this site for more info or ask a mentor for further information :)
Use the Performance Review Generator for your Canvas submissions.
The purpose of the Performance Review (PR) is to provide timely feedback that speaks to your effectiveness on your team. That is why mentors will adopt the following late policy:
If a Performance Review is turned in late, it will lose a point from the total score.
If your mentor is grading performance reviews and sees that your entry is missing, you will still be graded on your in-person work, but your content score will be a zero.
When you complete the content and resubmit, your content section will be graded, but you still lose one point for lateness.
For example, let's say PR's are due Monday morning at 8am. You forget to submit on time. Your mentor still grades your weekly productivity, but you receive a zero on your content. You then resubmit within the week with your updated content. Your mentor will then regrade your content section, but you still lose one point from your total score for lateness.
Important Note: After one week of lateness, you cannot resubmit content for a regrade, thus your content score will remain as a zero.
If you have any excused absences, please communicate that with your mentor in-person, via email, or Canvas comment.
