The Venue

St. Paul Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, AL, was organized in 1881 with Rev. Delaware Jackson serving as its first pastor. Originally located near University Boulevard, the congregation erected a new building on Sixth Avenue East in 1903, later rebuilding in brick in 1948–49 before moving to its current location in January 1965.  Current Pastor is Rev. Dr. Lonnie Weaver.
