Year 2

Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope you have all had a wonderful break. We hope you enjoyed spending time with your families as much

as we did. As we head into the new term we are looking forward to continuing the great work we have been

doing. This term we will continue to build on concepts we have already covered and explore some new topics

and ideas.

In the morning block we continue to have a ‘crunch and sip’ time when children can have a healthy fruit or

vegetable snack and a drink of water. Please provide something for this time. Some children have been bringing

this in a small, separate container which means they don’t have to get their whole lunch box out.

Please ensure jumpers, jackets, beanies and hats are labelled with your child’s name as we wish to minimise

‘lost’ items.

Please remember communication between parent and teacher is paramount to providing the best learning

environment for your child. Please continue to contact us (see below for email, or use seesaw) with any

questions or concerns you may have. If we address the little problems (academic, social or emotional) early, we

have the best chance of preventing them becoming big issues.
