About Me

I grew up in Ohio (forever a Buckeye fan!) where I played football, track/field, and wrestled for the Johnstown middle/high schools. From there I went to Muskingum University where I graduated with a degree in History and Political Science and took part in activities such as wrestling, rugby, and even having my own radio show! After graduation I spent four years in the U.S. Navy onboard the USS Carter Hall (fighting pirates oddly enough).

I'm married Katalin and together we have two kids, Kaiden and Alison (both are Dover Pirates). I've spent 14 years as a manager in food manufacturing, working for various sized companies. After moving from Ohio to Texas, then Texas to Arkansas, my family and I fell in love with the town of Dover and decided to make it our permanent home. I made the career jump into teaching after getting my license and graduate degree from ATU.

Shortly after arriving in the area, I found the Russellville youth wrestling team and spent a year coaching there before moving on to help start up the Dover Pirates Youth Wrestling program. This year, I have made the jump from youth wrestling to coach Dover's new high school wrestling team! I am proud to be a part of a program that will bring more opportunities to the students of Dover and the Dover community as a whole! Go Pirates!!
