Teacher Bio

Hello, and welcome to 6th Grade ELA.  My name is Mrs. Van Antwerp (you can also call me Mrs. Van), and some of you may remember me as your third grade teacher.  I am so excited to teach sixth grade!

This is my twenty-second year as a Dover Public School teacher! I have a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Education in Language Arts Literacy, both from William Paterson University. I am currently working toward my ESL Certification through Centenary University. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me spending time with my daughters Sophia and Eliza, and our dog, Ripley. Sophia will be starting tenth grade and Eliza will begin seventh grade, in August.
