Hello! My name is Andrea Rock, and I am a proud ESL teacher at Dover High School. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach all four levels of ESL: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and ML English.  I hold a Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Bilingual and ESL Curriculum from William Paterson University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in French. My academic background has fostered my passion for linguistics and the fascinating structure of language.

As an ESL teacher in Dover, I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to work with students from multicultural backgrounds. It is a privilege to be part of each student’s second-language acquisition journey.  I believe that learning another language is a rewarding experience that opens doors to new perspectives, cultures, and opportunities.  I am committed to creating a classroom environment that is safe, exciting, and inspiring.

A lo largo de mi carrera, he tenido la oportunidad de impartir los cuatro niveles de ESL: principiante, intermedio, avanzado y ML English. Poseo una maestría en Educación con especialización en Currículo Bilingüe y de ESL por la Universidad William Paterson, así como una licenciatura en Historia con una subespecialización en francés. Mi formación académica ha fomentado mi pasión por la lingüística y la fascinante estructura del lenguaje.

Como profesora de ESL en Dover, agradezco enormemente la oportunidad de trabajar con estudiantes de diversos orígenes culturales. Es un privilegio formar parte del proceso de adquisición de una segunda lengua de cada estudiante. Considero que aprender otro idioma es una experiencia gratificante que abre puertas a nuevas perspectivas, culturas y oportunidades. Me comprometo a crear un ambiente de aula seguro, estimulante e inspirador.
