With over two decades of knowledge in the field of Training, with a special focus on student leadership, Ms. Anez Katre brings maturity and experience to the programme, furthermore her passion and energy is infectious and adds immense value to the programme. She has been a key facilitator, leading leadership discussions, from the inception of this conference eight years ago. She recently left The Doon School to join her family in Delhi, but she continues to work with educators in various fields of training. Representing India at World Championships and Commonwealth Life Saving Sports and an avid trekker, we are pleased to have her back on the programme.
Working in the English department at The Doon School at present, Supratim has been associated with this profession for over eleven years. He believes that ‘teaching’, as a profession, has gained huge magnitude in human living and learning since time immemorial. To him, the true calling of a teacher is also an innate force of true leadership. His residential school experience in these years has helped him understand, facilitate and empower young children attain a long-term prospect in life. He loves to explore places, people and poetry besides cooking, playing video games and trekking in mountains.
Mr. R Prasad Badoni is a distinguished educationalist of Uttarakhand and a two-time National award recipient in the field of teaching. He started his career as a Reservoir Engineer in ONGC Ltd. but the spark to be an educator forced him to quit the job and join the self-sacrificing profession of teaching. From the past 14 years, he is recognized for his spirit of encouraging excellence in education in distant, socially and economically backward hilly areas of Uttarakhand and enlightening young minds to become a powerhouse of knowledge. He is passionate about community and social well-being. He also serves as a member and resource person for Bal Kalyan Parishad, Uttarakhand under honorable Governor of Uttarakhand since 2014.
