Team and Communication: (How it progressed between: students, students and the teacher, and students and the technical adviser)
The communication with our team (between students) was pretty smooth for the most part. We were able to keep in touch rather frequently since we set up a group chat the day of first being assigned teams. However, since our entire group is comprised of seniors, trying to meet up with our teacher posed a serious challenge (due to our busy schedules). However, our teacher was able to work with us and set up dates when we were able to meet with her. Communicating with the technical advisor was a hassle in its entirety. It was very hard, considering she is a mom of two young kids and one of the top researchers at Johnson & Johnson.
Research and Innovation: (What your team learned about researching and innovating a solution to a real world problem).
When our team first started off, we had already had a background in research and knew where to start off. Most of us had already written a research paper for our English class during our junior year, so we were able to start off rather easily. Firstly, we acquired our sources; in the process finding out that our idea is a very new one and not much research had been done on it to begin with. Afterwards, we had a foundation built for our project and then began researching the workforce necessary, which was new to all of us.
