Spring 2025 marks Dominican's 10th annual Scholarly and Creative Works Conference
This one-day event honors undergraduate and graduate student's research and creative works. The event showcases student research papers and posters, creative writing, artwork, dance, and music performances through presentations to a live audience.
All Dominican students and families, faculty, staff, and invited visitors; are welcome to attend the conference in person and view oral presentations via Zoom

Oral Abstracts & Schedule
Oral presentations are held in Guzman classrooms with an audience in person and via Zoom
Poster Abstracts & Schedule
All Poster presentations are held in Guzman Lecture Hall with an in-person audience (no Zoom available)
Artist Abstracts & Schedule
Artist Showcase with opening reception to be held in Barbara D. Goodman Art Gallery/Alemany Library, 1st floor
STUDENTS
General Support: motivation, public speaking skills, writing support, career prep, and more!
Eligibility to Present
Students eligible to present are those working on their undergraduate or graduate theses/capstone projects (even if it is in the proposal stage), including:
- Students graduating in spring 2024
- Students working on their capstone projects during their junior year
- Students graduating in December 2024 may present a thesis/project proposal
- Students who graduated in December 2023 are encouraged to return and present their completed work
Abstract Submissions Due March 1st
(2025 Abstract Submission Form pending)
- Fill out the 2024 Abstract Submission Form (form now closed)
- Read and accept the agreement statement at the bottom of the form
- Submit the form and receive a copy of your submission (note: If participating in a 'Group Presentation,' EACH member of the group should submit an abstract. The abstract and title should be identical for all submissions.)
- Optional, upload your final thesis with Dominican Scholar for the world to access your Signature Work!
