My classes invite young dancers to step into a realm of ideas rarely explored in technique class but essential to their growth both in and outside the dance studio.
In spanning the perceived distance between dance as physical art and intellectual pursuit, I hope to deepen the level of my students’ critical engagement with their training, challenge and broaden their ways of seeing, and provide them with the tools needed to become more informed, discerning consumers of media and culture at large.
