The Options Process

Students in Form 3 are required to choose subjects which best suit their future goals and their interests. The Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School (ALHCS) offers over forty (40) subjects in six (6) different Options to choose from. Students will receive guidance from a Guidance Counsellor, who will help them with the subject selection process. Students will meet with the Guidance Counsellors beginning 10th June to speak about their future ambitions, whereby the counsellors will be able to guide them with suitable subjects for their ability level. Students will select up to six (6) subjects to pursue in Forms 4 and 5.

The Option Sheet can be viewed below, and should be used to aid students in choosing a pathway to their desired futures. The Options Process is completed by the Counsellor and Student using a digital form.
