Each year in preparation to assist Year Three students with subject choices for Year Four, an Option Fair was held. This activity was undertaken to introduce new subjects to students and allow them a level of familiarization so as to make smart subject choices in keeping with their career goals and interests.
However, during the 2019-2020 school year, with the threat of COVID-19 and efforts to practice social distancing, this activity took on a virtual format. This school year 2020-2021, we find ourselves in a similar situation. Information pertaining to the various subjects available will be displayed online using this medium. Students will still be able to meet with Guidance Counsellors, explore and gather information about the subjects listed and discuss their career goals before making final subject selections. In preparation for this process, parents and guardians are encouraged to discuss with their child his / her career interests and possible subject choices in advance. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
