Option 1: Using flat-bed scanner/all-in-one printer and desktop/laptop computer
Part 1: SCANNING
Open the scanning software and start scanning your document/s.
Whether single-page or multiple-page documents, save the file in PDF format with a friendly and specific name, for example:
SWOT Analysis - Top Management.pdf
Risk Register and Action Plan - Head of Instruction.pdf
Risk Assessment and Control Sheet - Auxiliary Service.pdf
Course Syllabus - Rizal SY2020-2021 2ndSemester.pdf
Learning Plan - Mathematics in the Modern World SY 2021-2022 1stSemester.pdf
Part 2: UPLOADING
Each unit head and/or authorized representative/s are given access and privilege to manage their own documents files in the shared folder through Google Drive.
Browse in the OPERATING UNITS page and locate your respective folder.
Once your respective Google Drive folder opens, click the NEW button located at the upper left-hand corner of the webpage and select FILE UPLOAD.
Locate and select the file you want to upload and click OPEN button.
Wait until uploading has completed.
Go to your app store and install ADOBE SCAN: PDF, SCANNER, OCR.
Open ADOBE SCAN app.
For first time users, you will need to login by selecting SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE and choose your official DMMMSU email account. Then tap the LET'S GO button. If the message "Allow Adobe Scan to take pictures and record video" appears, select the option WHILE USING THE APP.
Tap the Camera icon located at the lower right-hand corner.
Place the document on a flat surface and position your smartphone over the document. The application automatically starts looking for a document by detecting its edges. Hold still until the app automatically captures the image.
To scan another page, select KEEP SCANNING option.
When you finally scanned the last page, select ADJUST AND SAVE option. You can browse through each page and make necessary adjustments like rotating the image into proper orientation.
Rename the file by tapping on the Pen icon beside the default file name Adobe Scan xxx xx,xxxx. Assign a friendly and specific name for your document.
Tap the SAVE PDF link located at the upper right-hand corner.
To upload the document, tap SHARE link and select the SHARE A COPY option.
Select the DRIVE (SAVE TO DRIVE) option.
If DRIVE is not listed among the options, install GOOGLE DRIVE application in your smartphone through your app store.
Tap the ACCOUNT drop down box and select your official DMMMSU email account.

Tap the FOLDER drop down box and select SHARED WITH ME. Switch to LIST VIEW to be able to see the names of the folder.
Look for the ISO Audit 2021 folder and open it. Inside this folder, you will see three (3) folders, namely, INSTRUCTION, RESEARCH AND EXTENSION, and SUPPORT SERVICES. Open the folder where your unit belongs.
Once you have located your unit folder, tap SELECT button located at the lower right-hand corner.
Finally, tap the SAVE button
For unit heads who would like to assign their authorized representative in managing their unit folder, please email your request indicating the name and DMMMSU email address of the employee/faculty to mis.mluc@dmmmsu.edu.ph with a subject AUTHORITY TO MANAGE UNIT ISO FOLDER.
To comply with confidentiality, non-disclosure and data privacy as per Data Privacy Act of 2012, the owners/uploaders of documents can prevent viewers from printing, copying, or downloading their files by follow doing these steps:
Open the Google Drive folder of your unit.
Select one or more files you want to limit.
Right click on the selected file/s and click Share.
At the top, click Share with people settings.
Uncheck the option Viewers and commenters can see the option to download, print, and copy.
Click Back button and then click Done.
