I obtained my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Federal University of Paraíba (Brazil, 2017), under the supervision of Prof. João Marcos Bezerra do Ó. Following the completion of my thesis, I held a postdoctoral position at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG, 2017-2019), under the guidance of Prof. Edcarlos Domingos da Silva. In February 2019, I joined the faculty of the Department of Mathematics at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE).
My primary research focus is in the field of Partial Differential Equations. I have worked with various classes of equations and coupled systems involving both local and nonlocal operators, such as the Laplacian, p-Laplacian, biharmonic operator, "Kirchhoff-type" operator, fractional Laplacian, and "Choquard-type" equations. My research primarily addresses the existence and nonexistence of solutions using variational methods. Additionally, I am interested in studying qualitative properties of solutions, including symmetry, monotonicity, and regularity.
