Homeroom & School Expectations
School arrival time is between 8:20 AM and 8:34 AM.
When you arrive at school, come prepared for a day of learning and dressed in the school's official uniform. If you need a reminder about the uniform policy, please refer to the student handbook. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or contact the school office.
Cell phones may not be used during the school day. As you enter the building, turn off your phone. Upon entering homeroom, place your phone in the classroom phone holder. AirPods, smartwatches, and other electronic devices should also be stored there. These items may be retrieved at dismissal as you leave the classroom. Keeping our classroom free from electronic distractions helps create a focused learning environment.
After unpacking and storing your electronic devices, begin your morning work. On Mondays, students will complete a Catechism assignment that is due on Tuesday. On Wednesdays, students will complete a History assignment that is due on Thursday. Assignments not submitted by the following Monday will be considered late.
At the end of the school day, students will pack up their materials and prepare for dismissal before returning to their seats. Students should remain seated and ready for announcements. On Fridays, if there have been no behavior issues, we will play Silent Ball while waiting for announcements. Once announcements begin, all students are expected to be silent and attentive as they listen to Mrs. Laubham or Mrs. Bozicevic.
Let's work together to make each day productive and positive. Following these procedures will help create a smooth, respectful, and enjoyable learning environment for everyone.
