About me
From building sets backstage to building up young minds in the classroom, my passion for education has only deepened over the years. As a certified Instructional II teacher, I have the joy of teaching religion, history, and the occasional life lesson. My certifications span Elementary (K–6), Mid-Level Citizenship (4–9), Mid-Level English (6–9), Mid-Level Math (6–9), and Art (PK–12)—because when God gives you a full toolbox, you’d better use it!
When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll often find me volunteering at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, where I serve as an Usher, Lector, and Eucharistic Minister. These ministries allow me to greet parishioners with a smile, share the Word of God (hopefully with decent enunciation), and help nourish the faith of our parish family.
In my downtime, I enjoy spending time on the golf course with my husband—he’s the head golf pro at Hill Crest Country Club, and I’m the head of moral support (and snack distribution). Whether on the green, in the pew, or in front of a whiteboard, I strive to live out my vocation with creativity, humor, and a heart rooted in Christ.
Our family is a source of great joy and pride. My daughter is a high school student at Serra Catholic, where she shines in many areas. She’s an active member of the Marching Band, dances with East End Kids, and performs in the school musical. At Serra, she’s also part of the track team and involved in a wide variety of clubs, including Eagle Ambassadors, Junior Achievement, Pro-Life Club, Best Buddies, Future Business Leaders of America, and Yearbook.
Rounding out our lively household are our two dogs, Benji (6) and Jet (3.5), along with our two guinea pigs, Oliver and Prince.
In my free time, I enjoy drawing, reading, and dancing—creative outlets that bring balance and inspiration to my life. As an educator, I’m deeply committed to nurturing a love of learning and encouraging personal growth in each of my students, helping them discover their gifts and grow in confidence and faith.
