Volunteering at DAS

All Parents are required to sign up for at least one volunteer opportunity! There are plenty of different ways to volunteer.

Hot Lunch - parents are asked to provide a hot lunch (reimbursements by the school are possible)

Food for Special Events - Parents can help provide food for special events organized by the school.

Drivers - we need drivers for ALL of our trips

Classroom Helpers - we encourage parents to help out in the classrooms (reading with students, grading, copies, and so much more!)

Volunteers for Events - Each month our school does an outreach afternoon, we need volunteers to help clean up the community or pack food boxes for families in need! We also have school events that we need assistance at too!

PTA - We also have a Parent Teacher Association - to help support and fundraise for the school

In order to volunteer, all helpers will need to be certified and back ground checked by the conference.
