The Research Office, in partnership with the Academic Services Department Units and the Learning Standards Department, will hold its 3rd Research Congress onsite on June 11, 2026.
The Research Office, in partnership with the Academic Services Department Units and the Learning Standards Department, will hold its 3rd Research Congress onsite on June 11, 2026.
The Congress adopts the theme "Transformative Designs and Evidence-based Innovations" and seeks to modernize education through structural improvements and the development of 21st-century skills.
The Congress adopts the theme "Transformative Designs and Evidence-based Innovations" and seeks to modernize education through structural improvements and the development of 21st-century skills.
It explores transformative designs for basic education curricula, flexible learning spaces, and equitable technology integration. These transformations aim to propel learners beyond foundational literacy and numeracy to 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, digital fluency, socio-emotional resilience, and civic agency.

The activities in the Research Congress, including plenary sessions, posters, and parallel presentations, are tailored to the Philippine public and private school contexts. These specifically address the Revised K-10 and Strengthened SHS Curriculum decongestion, multigrade challenges, and the Department of Education’s digitalization goals. This one-day event invites teachers, school heads, students (College/SHS), and researchers to share evidence-based innovations fostering holistic growth for future-ready Filipino learners.
The activities in the Research Congress, including plenary sessions, posters, and parallel presentations, are tailored to the Philippine public and private school contexts. Teaching and Learning Innovations in the Transformation of the Curriculum
The DLSZ Research Congress 2024 will be held onsite on June 21, 2024 and online on June 22, 2024 .
The theme encourages dialogues, collaboration, and sharing of research findings and insights on the transformations of curriculum. By highlighting innovative practices and advanced technologies that enhance the educational experience, this event seeks to foster these best practices that are reshaping the teaching and learning landscape.
The aim of the Congress is to be the venue for exchange of experiences and ideas contributing to the continuing discussion of curriculum transformation. The event will bring together educators, students, and partners in private and public institutions.
Interested presenters should submit an abstract (proposal or finished) of at least 250-300 words by 15 May 2024 via this form.

Emerging Trends and Innovations in Online Distance Learning and School Operation Management
The First DLSZ Research Congress on June 21, 23, 24, or 25, 2021 was held virtually.
The aim of the Congress is to bring together teachers and non-teaching personnel to exchange and share their practices, new ideas, and research results about the classroom, teaching, or office operations, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted.
