PERFORMANCE TASK NARRATIVE
As young Lasallian Leaders, they understand the veracity of being called not just to learn but to live out our values by taking part in actions that build a better, healthier, and more compassionate world. With due consideration of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 3: Good Health and Well-Being and grounded in the Lasallian Core Value of Contributors to the Society, the Pre-Kinder, Kinder, Grades 5 and 12 students of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School will participate in “BERDE 2.0: SPARK & STRIDE- Run with a Purpose” that aims to raise funds for the Anak Mindanao and other beneficiaries—extending the students' impact beyond the school walls.
This initiative promotes students, their families, and the broader Lasallian community to come together in celebration of health, family bonding, and solidarity. In the weeks leading up to the event, students will engage in cross-curricular learning experiences.
The culminating Fun Run Fundraising Event will serve as a platform for students to put their learning into action.
By participating in this performance task, students will:
Demonstrate understanding of health and wellness.
Exercise empathy and social responsibility.
Apply knowledge and skills from various subject areas in real-life contexts.
Experience the joy of contributing to society as active, young Lasallians.
Inspired to be the SPARK and take the LEAD, we run not just for fun, but with purpose- for our community and for humanity.
