The Society of Young Engineers Towards Achieving Excellence (SYNTAX) is an organization under the Office of the Associate Dean of the Gokongwei College of Engineering (GCOE) at De La Salle University. Our goal is to supplement various academic services and extracurricular activities that promote education, engineering, and excellence.
To become the epitome of engineering organizations by utilizing the talents of the brightest minds in the Gokongwei College of Engineering in order to serve and help future Lasallian Engineers reach their full potential.
To supplement the services offered by the Gokongwei College of Engineering’s Associate Dean’s office by promoting education, engineering, and achieving excellence through the implementation of different programs and activities.
The Engineering Summit is an event that promotes collaborative work and also builds networks. It is a good and effective way for engineering students from different schools to share their knowledge and experiences. That is why the organization is committed to giving these engineering students an event where they can be themselves as engineers and interact with a diverse group of engineering students from different schools.
STELLARIS: Going Beyond the Limits will serve as a platform for engineering students, not just from De La Salle University, but around the country, to have a deeper understanding asto what the field of engineering has to offer and how great of an impact it can have not just to themselves, but as fellow Filipinos. The webinars include the necessary influx of information from more than qualified speakers to remind the students of the impacts of their chosen field and the direction their respective fields are heading.
Sollemnitas: Culminating Night is a 2 and a half hour event that will consist of performances and activities, both of which are provided by local acts and the enthusiastic SYNTAX team. The event aims to showcase homegrown talents and allow the delegates of SYNTAX Month a chance to relax and bond with each other. It will be live streamed via Facebook giving the audience an opportunity to take part in interactive games and raffle events, with prizes consisting of gift cards and vouchers.
