The Electronics and CommunicationsEngineering Society (ECES), an affiliate organization of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines - Manila Student Chapter (IECEP-MSC), is a three-time most outstanding accredited professional organization of De La Salle University - Manila for aspiring Electronics Engineers. We focus on conducting research and academically developing the art of electronics and engineering to achieve the unification of future ECE professionals in the industry. Now on its 43rd year of operation, the organization caters its members to a variety of services ranging from academic support to industrial immersion opportunities as well as socio-civic activities.

The Electronics and Communications Engineering Society is the leading professional organization for aspiring ECE majors of De La Salle University, Manila. We strive to ensure the holistic development of our members by offering exceptional scholastic programs and services accompanied by outstanding and innovative collaborations with external organizations, honing academically excellent and professionally competent Electronics and Communication Engineers pioneering social transformation.
The EngDev series is a new installment by the DLSU ECES that primarily focuses on developing the soft skills needed by aspiring engineers in order to ensure their holistic growth – greatly excelling in both technical and social masteries. As such, in its first episode to be held this term, EngDev will primarily focus on guiding students on how to prepare for and their credentials once they enter the industry through a resume writing workshop.
Widening the Horizons aims to give a brief overview of the background behind emerging technologies that are assumed to be one of the motivations of aspiring ECE students in pursuing their careers. With the overwhelming number of innovations presented by the 4th Industrial Revolution, it becomes essential for people to explore the basic building blocks of these technologies to encourage them in improving the currently existing ones by widening their outlook on the given problem.
