The Chemical Engineering Society (ChEn) is the sole-accredited organization of chemical engineering students of De La Salle University-Manila. It is a service-oriented organization that makes its best efforts to implement projects and share opportunities for the holistic development of future Lasallian chemical engineers. Now in its 70th year, ChEn has been elevating its standards towards excellence, organizing activities such as seminars, workshops, formation programs, general assemblies, and more.
ChEn envisions itself to be a service-oriented organization in DLSU whose main purpose is to mold future Chemical Engineers that embody the Lasallian core values.

ChEn Talks: Coalescence aims to highlight the versatility of ChE — going beyond science and exploring a much more integrative approach to viewing chemical engineering as a career field. Moreover, this activity provides an avenue for students to ask questions, engage, and build connections with engineering professionals and experts. Coalescence Day 1 will particularly tackle the emerging nuclear energy industry and the opportunities available in the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute, whereas Day 2 will focus on the glass manufacturing process and the potential job prospects in the local glass industry.
This is a two-day event that will enable the organizations to have an open discussion about organization management and form bonds with other organization representatives. This project aims to unite the organizational bodies of the different colleges through a virtual event wherein the representatives will be given a chance to exchange their ideas and share their experiences on how their organizations function in line with their mission and vision, and interact and form bonds with one another.
EnChEnto is a spiritual formation activity that aims to provide students an opportunity to take a break from their academics and instead relax, reflect, and connect with their minds and with God. This activity creates an avenue and a safe space for the participants to share their experiences, struggles, and progress with one another, helping them to find comfort and hope amidst life’s challenges.
