THE SYMPOSIUM
The 1st International Symposium on Concrete and Structures for the Next Generation, known as the Ikeda-Otsuki Symposium (IOS2016), was held in Tokyo, Japan, in May 2016. This event was dedicated to honoring the contributions of Dr. Shoji Ikeda, Professor Emeritus of Yokohama National University, and Dr. Nobuaki Otsuki, Professor Emeritus of Tokyo Institute of Technology (now the Institute of Science Tokyo). Since then, the symposium has continued to foster international collaboration, with the 2nd symposium held in Manila, Philippines, in 2017, the 3rd in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2018 and the 4th in Kanazawa, Japan. Now, the symposium is returning to the Philippines for its 5th edition. The primary objective of this fifth symposium is to support the growth and development of both emerging and established engineers and researchers in the field of concrete engineering in today’s global landscape.
The Organizing Committee of the 5th International Symposium on Concrete and Structures for the Next Generation (CSN2025) is pleased to invite researchers, practitioners, and professionals from the construction industry to submit abstracts for presentation at this upcoming symposium. This prestigious event aims to bring together leading experts and innovators to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and future trends in concrete and structural engineering.
