1. Can we take a class that is not in our flowchart?
Yes, however, you would need to petition for an Audit Class. Kindly take note as well that audit courses are not included in the computation of your GPA.
2. Do we have to follow the specified term for the subjects in our flowchart?
No, but it is highly recommended to prevent being delayed. For majors, note that major subjects are seasonal. Thus, it would be best to follow your flowchart. You are also required to complete all the courses in your flowchart in order to graduate.
3. What is Global Enrichment Term (GET)?
The Global Enrichment Term is a term allotted for a student to grow more in other aspects. It does not necessarily mean that the student must study overseas. The student may also opt to do volunteer work, do an internship, or anything that helps them gain more experience.
4. Do I need to take a different course to replace GET?
ID 118 and 119 will no longer have GET due to restrictions brought about by the pandemic. Given this, the colleges will be adjusting their respective flowcharts.
5. What is the maximum number of units we can take in a term?
Maximum number of units will vary depending on your College or Program. Generally, the units stated for a particular term in the flowchart will be considered the maximum.
6. How many units do I have to take to be Dean's List?
You must take at least 12 academic units to qualify for Dean's List.
7. On my last term, I only have 9 units left. If I take them all, can I still qualify as Dean's List?
Yes, you may, as long as you ensure that you only have less than 12 units left of courses.
8. Are non-academic units like LASARE, LCLSTWO, etc. included in the unit count?
No, because they are non-academic units. They are indicated in parentheses beside the number of academic units that you are taking. For example, if you are taking 20 units and LASARE2, your number of units would be 20(1).
9. Are Lasallian Studies and NSTP courses part of the computation for my GPA?
No, they are not. However, to qualify for Dean's Lister and Latin honors, you should not have failed any of these courses.
10. Do I need to take all of my classes indicated on my flowchart?
Yes, you must accomplish all the courses in your flowchart in order to graduate.
11. I’m currently in a LIA-COM program and I can’t find my flowchart. What flowchart can I refer to?
If you are in a LIA-COM program and your flowchart is unavailable, kindly refer to another flowchart with your LIA program. For instance, if you are taking Psychology and Legal Management, look for a LIA-COM flowchart with Psychology and use this as your basis.
