1ST ACG COUNCIL OF STUDENT SECTORS
1ST ACG COUNCIL OF STUDENT SECTORS
The First Council of Student Sectors | LGBTQIA+ • Health • Sports • Finance • Religion and Belief Systems • More
The Council of Student Sectors (COSS) of the Arts College Government (ACG) is a unit that aims to extend the university’s commitment to promote inclusive and safe spaces that promote mutual respect, participatory leadership, and productive relationships among CLA students regardless of their sectors (LGBTQIA+, Scholarships, Finance, Sports, Religion and Belief Systems, etc.).
In addition, the COSS Recruitment will serve as another step of the ACG in harnessing genuine representation of various sectors and minority groups in its college by recruiting student representatives who have the passion for serving their constituents based on their corresponding student sectors.
By being involved in college-wide policy-making, initiative-building, and welfare-safeguarding, the chosen representatives will be working closely with DLSU organizations and offices catering to inclusion, diversity, and wellbeing. The expected outputs of the council are sustainable recommendations, policies, and campaigns to promote a more inclusive liberal arts tomorrow.
Representatives - Shall be the primary liaison in representing their corresponding student sector to the Arts College Government and guide their associates
Assistant Representatives - Shall be the second-in-command in the event that the representative is not available
Associates - Shall help the Representatives and Assistant Representatives in overseeing the condition of their corresponding sector
