Guidelines
These incentives are open to all undergraduate and graduate students of CLA.
The student must be the lead author/proponent/creator or single author of a full-length work. As the length of outputs varies by discipline, the department shall be the one to determine the acceptability of submitted papers/outputs.
For student co-authors/creators whose lead author/creator is also a student, the amount shall be divided equally to them. Students are enjoined to collaborate with a faculty member as co-author/creator.
Student co-authors/creators are not qualified if the lead author/creator is a faculty member. Graduate students who are faculty members of DLSU are not qualified. They can instead apply for faculty publication incentives.
The graduate student’s primary affiliation must be DLSU as indicated on the title page of the published paper. For non-print outputs, student/s can submit the EAF as proof of their affiliation.
The incentive can be availed of once a year, but a student can apply to any or to all level categories within the academic year. For each level, a student can only apply for 1 type of work/output.
The inaugural implementation shall take effect starting AY2021-2022. Thus, only outputs published/created within this academic year can be submitted.
To avail of the incentive, the student lead author should submit the requirements below to cladean@dlsu.edu.ph.
Cover letter addressed to the Dean and endorsed by the department’s CRC representative,
Digital copy of the paper or creative/production work,
For non-print output, a copy of the EAF.
