Maintain a supportive environment on campus in which all students, who present in all ways of African and African-American heritage, ancestry, culture, and identity – and their allies – may develop unity and successfully advocate for equitable, fair, and just representation.

In addition to fulfilling our mission, the BSU will host and/or sponsor several annual events including the MLK Jr. Community Day of Remembrance, Black History month activities (i.e. CHS/DLS joint BSU potluck, annual fundraiser, volunteer service activities, day at the movies, Port Chicago Memorial visit, MOAD visit, etc.), and the BSU Summit.
