Our curious little learners had an exciting and educational visit to the Axis Bank today! The children got a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand how a bank works. They observed the ATM machine, the ‘May I Help You’ counter, and the cash counters where people deposit and withdraw money

They also learned about cheque deposits and saw how the bank safely keeps valuables in the locker section. It was a fun-filled, informative experience that helped them understand the importance of saving and managing money responsibly.

The Junior Wing of DL DAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA lit up with joy as we celebrated the birthdays of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji, the symbol of simplicity and integrity.

A beautifully designed Mini Gandhi Ashram recreated in the school premises gave children a glimpse of Bapu’s life, his charkha, and his timeless lessons of truth and non-violence.

Our Junior Wing was nothing less than a powerhouse of thrill and excitement. From the very first moment, the arena echoed with cheers as our little athletes showcased not only their sporting spirit but also their courage and determination.

The highlight of the event was the Taekwondo display, where young warriors mesmerized the audience with power-packed punches, lightning-fast kicks, and impressive self-defense techniques.

The daring tile-breaking act drew gasps and applause, reflecting the grit and confidence of the children.

Adding sparkle to the occasion was the gracious visit of our Principal Ma’am, who applauded the young performers and motivated them with her encouraging words. Her presence filled the students with pride and inspired them to shine brighter.

The grand finale brought the day to a perfect close as the children came together to form a magnificent human pyramid, a symbol of strength, unity, and teamwork.

A special highlight was the beautifully decorated Gratitude Wall, where children pinned their handwritten notes of thanks, turning it into a colorful display of love and appreciation.

The celebration reached its peak when students presented little notes of thanks to their teachers and school helpers, filling the atmosphere with joy and positivity.

The day beautifully conveyed that Gratitude is the best attitude, nurturing kindness and thankfulness in young hearts.

International Day of Peace

The tiny tots came together to spread the powerful message of love, harmony, and unity.

The day began with children holding doves and peace symbols, sharing their thoughts through rhymes, songs, and dances.Their innocent voices highlighted the importance of kindness and friendship in everyday life.

The occasion was further brightened by the gracious presence of our Principal Ma’am, who applauded the efforts of the little learners. She emphasized that true peace begins with small acts of kindness and encouraged the children to nurture harmony in their daily lives.

Connecting the celebration with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the focus emphasized building peaceful and inclusive societies. To inspire them further, words of great Peace Ambassadors like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, and Malala Yousafzai were shared, reminding all that even small acts of goodness can create a big change.

The celebration concluded with a pledge to nurture peace in thoughts, words, and actions.

As per the direction of Central Education Ministry, to mark the occasion of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi's 75th birthday a short movie 'Chalo Jeete Hain' based on his life incidents was screened, highlighting his journey of building character, selfless service and taking responsibility.

Children watched with excitement and learned values of selfless service, hard work and patriotism.

Teachers interacted with students after the screening, encouraging them to reflect on the lessons from his life and how they can apply them in their own small ways.

The day inspired young learners to dream big and serve the country with pride.

हिन्दी दिवस – एकता का उत्सव

डी एल डी ए वी मॉडल स्कूल, पीतमपुरा के जूनियर विंग में हिन्दी दिवस बड़े उत्साह और उल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर नन्हें-मुन्नें बच्चों ने विविध प्रस्तुतियों के माध्यम से हिन्दी भाषा की महिमा का बखान किया।

कविता वाचन –

बच्चों ने मधुर स्वर में मनमोहक हिन्दी कविताएँ सुनाईं। उनकी आत्मीयता और आत्मविश्वास ने सभी का मन मोह लिया।

दोहा वाचन –

बच्चों ने दोहों का सुंदर वाचन किया। उनके स्पष्ट उच्चारण और सरल व्याख्या ने श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।

इन प्रस्तुतियों से बच्चों में हिन्दी भाषा के प्रति प्रेम और सम्मान की भावना प्रबल हुई तथा उनके भाषण और प्रस्तुति कौशल में भी निखार आया।

यह कार्यक्रम इस बात का सजीव प्रमाण था कि हिन्दी केवल एक भाषा नहीं, बल्कि हम सबको जोड़ने वाली एकता की डोर है।

We, in collaboration with an NGO Laughing Home for disabled celebrated International Literacy Day with great enthusiasm and purpose. The day began with engaging talks by teachers highlighting the importance of reading, writing, and education in shaping a brighter future.

In a heartwarming gesture, students came forward to donate stationery items including notebooks, pencils, crayons, and erasers which were handed over to the NGO for distribution among underprivileged children. The day began with the tricolour unfurling high and the entire premises echoing with the National Anthem.

The first day of school was all about smiles, excitement, and new dreams! Our tiny tots stepped into their "home away from home" with wonder in their eyes.

Adding to the joy, Our Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Anupama Sinha, visited the Junior Wing to bless the little ones and shower them with her warm wishes on their special day.

The vibrant décor, fun-filled classroom activities, crown headgears, and the lively "Selfie Point" added to their memorable day. Laughter echoed as little feet danced to cheerful tunes, marking the start of their beautiful learning journey a wonderful one!
