With great pride and patriotic enthusiasm, the Junior Wing celebrated Parakram Diwas, honouring the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

 🌞The day was dedicated to instill the values of courage, determination, and love for the nation among our young learners in a joyful and age-appropriate manner.

👦🏻👧🏻Students actively participated in engaging activities such as colouring🖍️ worksheets, picture-based learning, and patriotic songs, which made the celebration lively and meaningful.🎤🎼

We celebrated the vibrant festival of Lohri and Makar Sankranti with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit during online classes. Despite the virtual setting, the festive joy was clearly reflected in the smiling faces and active participation of the young learners. 🩷🩷

Teachers introduced the significance of both Lohri and Makar Sankranti through engaging storytelling and simple explanations, helping children understand the importance of harvest festivals and Indian traditions. 🪁🪁🪁

🎉 The online sessions were filled with cheerful folk music, festive greetings, and interactive discussions that brought the essence of Lohri into every home.

🥜🍿Students  also participated in creative activities such as drawing bonfires and colouring Lohri and Makar Sankranti-themed worksheets, making the celebration both fun and educational.🔥🔥🔥

Saluting the Brave Hearts Who Chose Faith Over Fear

Veer Bal Diwas was observed with deep respect and reverence, to commemorate the unparalleled bravery and supreme sacrifice of the four Sahibzaade.

Through age-appropriate storytelling, visuals and interactive discussions, young learners were sensitized to the values of courage, faith, and righteousness upheld by these young martyrs.

The day aimed to instill moral values, patriotism, and admiration for India’s rich spiritual and historical legacy.

The observance served as a meaningful tribute to the indomitable spirit of the Sahibzaade and left a lasting impression on the young minds.

Honouring Sacrifice, Inspiring Young Hearts

Swami Shraddhanand Ji Balidan Diwas was observed by our Junior DAVians during online classes with reverence and pride.

Through stories, visuals, and interactive discussions, young learners were introduced to the life and sacrifice of the great social reformer and freedom fighter.

Children expressed their thoughts through simple reflections and creative responses, fostering values of patriotism, courage, and respect for national heroes even in a virtual classroom.

A Virtual Christmas Filled with Colour and Cheer

The spirit of Christmas filled our online classrooms with joy and creativity. Students celebrated the festival with enthusiasm by participating in various activities like free-hand drawing  creating delightful Christmas scenes, decorating Christmas trees etc.

Through joyful interaction, songs, stories and festive discussions, children learned the message of love, sharing, and kindness.

The entire wing brimmed with joy and affection as the little ones celebrated Grandparents’ Day — a heartfelt tribute to the pillars of love, wisdom, and guidance in every family.

The day began with a warm welcome by the children, who greeted their grandparents with flowers, smiles and hugs, making them feel truly special. As a token of love and gratitude, beautiful planters were presented, symbolizing care, growth, and everlasting affection.

Adding to the charm of the celebration,  grandparents narrated captivating stories, leaving the children spellbound with their timeless tales and life lessons.

In the interactive session, grandparents lovingly shared their experiences and fond memories, filling the room with laughter, nostalgia, and heartfelt emotions.

The celebration beautifully reflected the unbreakable bond between generations and reminded everyone of the warmth and wisdom that grandparents bring into a child’s life.

Gurupurab Celebrations – Spreading the Light of Guru Nanak Ji's Teachings

The Junior wing of DL DAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA echoed with devotion and joy as students celebrated Gurupurab, commemorating the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and a beacon of peace, equality, and truth.

The celebration began with a graceful *Nagar Kirtan* led by the Bhai Panj Pyare, symbolizing the spirit of unity and devotion.

Children participated with great reverence, chanting Shabads and spreading the message of love and harmony across the campus.

Teachers also shared meaningful insights, encouraging everyone to follow the Guru’s path of truth and compassion.

The event concluded with the distribution of Kada Prasad, marking the end of a soulful celebration that truly enriched the hearts of all.

The entire wing came alive with festive fervour as children celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights, with great joy and enthusiasm. The highlight of the celebration was a vibrant presentation of the _Ram Katha_, beautifully depicting the triumph of good over evil. Little ones, dressed as Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman, brought the epic tale to life with grace and innocence, leaving the audience spellbound.

Adding to the festive cheer were a series of colorful and bright dance performances that filled the atmosphere with energy and excitement. The young performers swayed to the beats of traditional Diwali songs, spreading smiles and radiance all around.

The celebration not only immersed the children in the spirit of Diwali but also helped them understand the deeper message of truth, virtue, and light conquering darkness.

Stop, Drop, and Read! – Little Minds Lost in Books

Books opened the doors to imagination as our little readers who enthusiastically took part in the “Drop Everything and Read” activity. The moment the signal was given, children paused their routine and dived straight into the world of stories, rhymes, and adventures!

Each child brought along their favourite book and spent a joyful time exploring new words, ideas, and characters. The classrooms turned into cozy reading corners filled with quiet excitement and curious minds at work.

Such activities not only nurture reading habits but also help children develop a lifelong love for books and learning.

Celebrating the Magic of a Smile

A day filled with giggles, grins, and glowing faces!

The corridors echoed with laughter as children engaged in smiley-face craft, listened to inspiring stories on kindness, and played fun games that reminded everyone of the magic hidden in a simple smile.

Smashes, Serves & Spirit – Table Tennis Takes the Spotlight!

The second day of the KID-O-SPORT 2025 at  DL DAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA JUNIOR WING  began with unstoppable enthusiasm and youthful energy. The spotlight of the day was on Table Tennis, a sport that inspires sharp focus, speed, and discipline.

Our young paddlers showcased their skills with confident serves and swift rallies, filling the arena with cheers and excitement.

Adding to the thrill, children participated in fun drills and practice activities that highlighted teamwork, coordination, and determination. Each moment on the court reflected the true spirit of sportsmanship and the joy of learning through play.

The day concluded with pride and applause for the budding champions who proved that every effort counts and every rally is a step towards excellence.

A special highlight was the beautifully decorated Gratitude Wall, where children pinned their handwritten notes of thanks, turning it into a colorful display of love and appreciation.

The celebration reached its peak when students presented little notes of thanks to their teachers and school helpers, filling the atmosphere with joy and positivity.

The day beautifully conveyed that Gratitude is the best attitude, nurturing kindness and thankfulness in young hearts. 

International Literacy Day Celebration – Spreading the Light of Learning

We, in collaboration with an NGO  Laughing Home for disabled celebrated International Literacy Day with great enthusiasm and purpose. The day began with engaging talks by teachers highlighting the importance of reading, writing, and education in shaping a brighter future.

In a heartwarming gesture, students came forward to donate stationery items including notebooks, pencils, crayons, and erasers which were handed over to the  NGO for distribution among underprivileged children. This thoughtful contribution reflected the true essence of the day – spreading knowledge and empowering lives.

The celebration not only reinforced the significance of literacy but also instilled the values of sharing and compassion among our young learners.

JAI KANHAIYA LAL KI...

The Junior Wing of DL DAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA, sparkled with devotion and joy as children celebrated Janmashtami with colourful dances, soulful bhajans, and a charming Krishna Leela.

Dressed as little Krishnas and Radhas, our tiny stars won every heart.

Enactment of Krishna Leela delighted everyone  and filled the air with the cheers of “Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki!”.

It was a day of cultural learning, joy and togetherness, leaving a lasting impression on the young minds.

CELEBRATING THE BOND OF LOVE

We celebrated  Raksha Bandhan with great joy and enthusiasm . The celebration aimed to help the little ones understand the essence of this beautiful festival which strengthens the bond of love between brothers and sisters.

Children actively participated in rakhi-making activities, using craft materials like paper, beads, sequins, and threads.

Kids were dressed in traditional attire, adding charm to the celebration.

The Rakhi celebration was not only a fun-filled event but also a wonderful opportunity to teach children values like love, respect, and unity.

Our Playgroup section buzzed with joy as our little learners explored multifarious activities including indoor and outdoor play. 

An exciting and vibrant Exhibition was organized  in the Junior Wing of DL DAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA. The event aimed to showcase the creativity, imagination and learning experiences of our young learners.

The Junior DAVians had a heartwarming celebration of Best Friends Day, filled with love, laughter, and creativity!

They expressed their affection in the most endearing ways — by crafting beautiful greeting cards, designing adorable photo frames, calling up their best buddies, and even visiting them!

One of the most cherished moments was the Cherry on the Ice Cream activity, where children sweetly penned down their best friend’s qualities on an ice cream cone! What a delightful way to celebrate the essence of true friendship!

The campus buzzed with joy as the bonds of friendship grew stronger, bringing endless smiles and heart-touching memories.

Our little ones celebrated International Yoga Day with enthusiasm, showcasing various Yoga poses and meditation. Their shared pictures exude positivity and wellness. Keep shining, young yogis! 

Even the summer break couldn't stop our little DAVians from spreading green smiles!

With the loving guidance and enthusiastic support of their parents, our young environmentalists celebrated World Environment Day in the most meaningful way!

They planted saplings, sowed seeds, watered plants, adopted and cared for their green friends. Every tiny hand became a healer of the Earth and every small act turned into a big step towards a greener tomorrow!

Beautiful moments were captured as our children proudly nurtured their plants with love and care.

We wish to sow the seeds of responsibility, care, and eco-consciousness in the hearts of our little ones! Because every child who plants a tree today, nurtures the Earth for tomorrow.

We, with our tiny tots reverently celebrated Mahatma Hansraj Day to honour the noble life and legacy of a true visionary.

To instill these values in our young learners, an informative and inspiring presentation was shown to the students, helping them understand the profound contributions of this great soul.
