The spirit of Navratri came alive today!

Our little ones celebrated the festival of nine nights with a joyful Dandiya & Garba Celebration. Dressed in colourful traditional attires, holding decorated dandiya sticks, our children danced, smiled and spread festive joy everywhere.

The beautifully decorated Garba corner and the energetic performances made the day truly special.

Navratri teaches us the power of devotion, energy and togetherness. Seeing our little children celebrate our culture with such joy and grace fills our hearts with pride. May Maa Durga bless all our children.

World Food Day

"Healthy food, healthy child, happy future!"

Our Junior Wing celebrated World Food Day with joy and flavour!

Our tiny tots turned into little chefs and global ambassadors! They made healthy fireless dishes in school and brought delicious international foods from home. From Italy to India, Mexico to Japan - our classrooms became a world food tour!

Today our children not only learned about healthy eating but also respected food cultures from around the world. Food connects us all, and our little ones showed us how beautifully diverse and united our world is.

Our children turned into little chefs - cutting, mixing, decorating and tasting their own healthy dishes. Our little chefs were on fire... without fire today! Along with fireless cooking, they learned the importance of healthy eating, not wasting food and saying thank you to our farmers.

Food is not just about taste, it's about health, gratitude and sharing. Today our children learned to make healthy choices and to value every grain on their plate.

Small Steps, Greener Tomorrow – Recycling for a Better Earth!

In observance of E-Waste Management Day, the Junior Wing of DLDAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA organised an E-Waste Collection Drive to sensitise young learners towards the responsible disposal and recycling of electronic waste.

Our enthusiastic little learners participated wholeheartedly by bringing used batteries, old cables and discarded electronic gadgets from their homes for responsible recycling.

The initiative aimed to familiarise children with the environmental hazards of e-waste and highlight the significance of proper waste management in protecting our planet.

Through engaging discussions and teacher-guided interactions, children learnt how mindful choices and small individual efforts can contribute towards a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable environment.

The drive fostered environmental consciousness, responsible habits and a sense of care for Mother Earth, inspiring our young learners to become eco-conscious citizens of tomorrow.

Animal Welfare Day

A Day Full of Paws, Love & Learning!

The Junior Wing celebrated World Animal Welfare Day with a wonderful Mini Zoo Setup in school. Our little animal lovers learned about kindness towards animals, their homes, food and sounds through fun activities!

When children learn to love and respect animals, they learn to love and respect life itself. Our Mini Zoo was a small step to sow seeds of compassion and responsibility in our little hearts.

Thanks to our respected Principal Ma’am for enlightening our path & providing us the opportunity to make the Mini Zoo so lively and educational!

Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti

The Junior Wing celebrated birth anniversaries of our two great national heroes with love, respect and patriotism!

Our little ones were dressed up as Bapu & Shastri ji. They danced to the tunes of patriotic songs. Various enactments were presented showcasing the milestones of Gandhiji’s life & his teachings. Parents appreciated the presentation & the efforts put in by everyone.

A Special Gandhi Ashram Display was created in the school premises. Children visited this beautiful recreation showcasing Gandhiji's belongings and his message of truth & simplicity.

The day was full of values, learning and proud Indian hearts!

Taekwondo & Table Tennis Tournament

Two days of energy, enthusiasm, courage and sporting spirit came alive at the Junior Wing as our little champions stepped into the arena with sparkling eyes, confident smiles and an unstoppable spirit!

From the very first cheer to the final applause, Kid-O-Sport 2026 was a spectacular celebration of fitness, discipline, teamwork and determination. Our tiny athletes displayed remarkable confidence as they participated, performed and cheered for one another.

The Taekwondo & Table Tennis Display were undoubtedly the most thrilling highlights. Our young warriors captivated everyone with their power-packed punches, lightning-fast kicks, tile breaking, sharp movements, pyramid formation, balancing, tossing, rolling, jumping over, table tennis and impressive self-defence techniques.

Adding grace and pride to the occasion was the presence of our Respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Anupama Sinha, whose encouraging words and warm appreciation motivated our little performers to give their very best. Her presence made the celebration even more special.

The thunderous applause, beaming faces and infectious excitement of the audience truly reflected the spirit of the two-day celebration.

The Junior Wing celebrated International Day of Peace with great zeal and enthusiasm to spread the message of love, harmony and unity.

Our little angels spread the magic of peace through their graceful and soulful performances on the theme of peace and harmony. Our confident young speakers gave powerful messages of non-violence and love. Our tiny artists made various crafts as well.

The celebration taught our children that peace starts from within and small acts of kindness can make this world a more beautiful place.

"Vakratunda Mahakaya, Suryakoti Samaprabha..."

The Junior wing celebrated the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion, creativity and great joy. Our little devotees welcomed Lord Ganesha with handmade art and pure hearts.

The celebration became more divine as our children visited the beautiful Ganesha Temple made in the school premises. They offered flowers and worshipped Lord Ganesha with true devotion.

The chants of "Ganpati Bappa Morya" filled the entire atmosphere with positivity and spiritual bliss.

The day taught our children the importance of celebrating festivals in an eco-friendly and spiritual way.

May Lord Ganesha remove all obstacles and bless our children with wisdom and happiness.

हिंदी दिवस | गर्व से कहो "हिंदी है हमारी शान, हिंदी से ही है हिंदुस्तान!"

जूनियर विंग ने हिंदी दिवस (14 सितंबर) को बड़े उत्साह और गर्व के साथ, हमारी राष्ट्रभाषा हिंदी के सम्मान में मनाया।

हमारे नन्हे-मुन्ने कवियों ने आत्मविश्वास और हाव-भाव के साथ मधुर और भावपूर्ण हिंदी कविताओं का पाठ किया। उनकी अभिव्यक्ति ने सभी का दिल जीत लिया।

विद्यार्थियों ने संत कबीर, रहीम और तुलसीदास जी के गहन अर्थ वाले दोहों का वाचन भी किया। उनके दोहों ने हमें हमारी समृद्ध संस्कृति और संस्कारों की याद दिलाई।

The Junior wing celebrated National Grandparents Day with immense love and joy! Our special guests, our dearest Grandparents, graced the occasion with their presence and made the day truly unforgettable for our little ones.

Our students presented a dance performance to welcome the grandparents for their endless love and blessings.

Our beloved grandparents took us down the memory lane and narrated beautiful moral stories & folk tales from their childhood. The kids listened with wide-eyed wonder!

They had a wonderful circle time fun. Grandparents and grandchildren played fun games. The laughter echoed in every corner!

The bond between grandparents and grandchildren is pure, unconditional and priceless. Today we celebrated that beautiful bond.

International Literacy Day | The Joy of Giving - Stationery Donation Drive

"Literacy is a bridge from misery to hope. And sharing is the greatest lesson."

The Junior wing celebrated International Literacy Day with a noble and meaningful initiative.

To understand the true value of education, our students participated in a Stationery Donation Drive for an NGO. Our children enthusiastically donated notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers, colours and other stationery items with great love and excitement.

A small contribution from our students will become a big support in the education of underprivileged children. This activity taught our children the values of empathy, kindness and sharing — because true literacy is not just about reading and writing, but about making others learn too.

We are proud of our young hearts with big values!

Janmashtmi Celebration

Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki!

The Junior Wing was filled with devotion, joy and colours today as we celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna - Shri Krishna Janmashtami!

Our little Krishnas and Radhas stole everyone's hearts! Dressed in beautiful traditional attire, our students filled the campus with festive cheer.

A soulful special presentation was conducted with mesmerizing dance performances, bhajans and shlokas. The students spoke about the life of Krishna and his message of love, truth and dharma. The classrooms were vibrantly decorated with peacock feathers, flutes and matkis made by our children.

The entire atmosphere was divine and joyful!

The life of Lord Krishna teaches us to do our duty with love and joy. May our children learn his values of wisdom, kindness and courage.

The children celebrated Teacher's Day with immense love, gratitude and respect to honour the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and to thank their beloved teachers.

The entire school was filled with emotion and excitement!

Students expressed their love through handmade cards, beautiful crafts and heartfelt thank-you messages. An unforgettable activity was conducted where students took on the roleplay of teachers for the day and did a ramp walk.

A sacred Hawan Ceremony was organized for the students of the Junior Wing to seek the blessings of the Almighty.

The air was filled with the soothing chants of mantras and the fragrance of sacred samagri. Everyone sat together with folded hands, offering prayers for wisdom, good health, peace and prosperity for all.

It was a serene and spiritually uplifting experience for everyone present.

Today our Junior Wing paid tribute to the Hockey Wizard, *Major Dhyan Chand*, by turning our campus into a festival of fitness and fun!

Various games and races were conducted such as Lemon & Spoon Race, Passing the Ball game, Hit the target game etc.— our young champions showed us what true sportsmanship looks like.

It wasn't just about winning. It was about teamwork, discipline and learning to cheer for each other.

We are so proud of every child who ran, played and gave their best!

The Junior wing was filled with love and tradition today as our students celebrated the beautiful festival of Raksha Bandhan.

Our students enthusiastically participated in various activities such as Rakhi making and Thali decoration activity. Tiny hands made beautiful, colourful rakhis and decorated them with beads and flower stickers.

The teachers talked about the significance of Raksha Bandhan — that it is not just about a brother and sister, but about promising to protect, respect and care for one another.

Monsoon magic came alive today at Junior Wing!

Our tiny tots beat the heat and enjoyed the rainy season with a super fun Rain Dance Party! Dressed in colorful raincoats & umbrellas, our little clouds danced their hearts out to peppy monsoon songs.

The showers, music and non-stop giggles made it a day to remember! The kids splashed, twirled and enjoyed every drop with their friends.

As the National Flag soared high, the entire premises resonated with the National Anthem, filling every heart with pride and patriotic fervour.

Our little patriots stole the show with their energetic dances and soulful patriotic songs, spreading the message of love and unity for our nation.

Dressed in vibrant hues of saffron, white and green, our little ones looked like walking Tricolours, radiating joy, innocence and love for the country.

Mother's Day was celebrated with immense love and affection! Our talented students created heartfelt crafts, showcasing their deep love and gratitude for their moms. Each token of affection was a testament to the special bond between a mother and child. We're thrilled to have made this celebration so memorable!

Plants - Our Best Friends

Our little learners had a joyful time exploring the wonderful world of plants! Using magnifying glasses, children observed leaves, flowers and tiny details in nature with great curiosity. They watered the plants, touched different textures and explored the beautiful plants around the school campus. The activity encouraged observation, care for nature and hands-on learning in a fun way.

World Book Day

It was a magical World Book Day for our students as our little bookworms dressed up in impressive colourful characters from fantasy stories. Students came dressed as their favorite characters from fairy tales, picture books and famous stories. From Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood to Harry Potter, Peppa Pig, Tenali Raman and The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the campus turned into a lively storybook.

Teachers encouraged all children to read a little every day and explore new stories. The event aimed to spark a love for reading and help children connect with the magical world of books.

Earth Day

Earth Day was celebrated enthusiastically with engaging activities that helped young learners connect with nature and understand the need to protect our planet. Various activities were conducted such as Tree Plantation Drive, where little hands lovingly planted saplings in the nearby park, Earth Day Parade, Earth Headgear Making and Sorting Activity to help them identify everyday actions and items that harm our environment. At the end of the celebrations, all students took a pledge to save electricity, avoid plastic, plant more trees and keep their surroundings clean. The day helped every child understand that Our Power lies in everyday choices, and together we can protect Our Planet.

The day was filled with joy, creativity and a strong promise from our youngest learners to keep the Earth green and clean.

Mahatma Hansraj Day

The students at the junior wing reverently celebrated Mahatma Hansraj Day to honour the noble life and legacy of a true visionary. To instill these values in our young learners, an informative and inspiring presentation was shown to the students, helping them understand the profound contributions of this great soul.

World Heritage Day

The school enthusiastically celebrated World Heritage Day. To mark the celebrations, the students of Balvatika 3 and Class 1 visited ISKON Temple and embarked on an educational and spiritual journey, exploring India's rich cultural heritage. Through activities like coloring, placard making and PPT presentations, they gained a deeper appreciation for our nation's diverse traditions.

Foundation Day

The school proudly marked it's 46th Foundation Day with a vibrant array of activities, showcasing creativity and enthusiasm. To mark this special day, hawan was organised giving spiritual touch to the day. The children enthusiastically decorated their cards using bright colours, showing their creativity and excitement.

The event not only brought smiles to the children’s faces but also helped them learn the importance of togetherness and celebrating special occasions.

Baisakhi Celebrations

On the occasion of Baisakhi, our little stars came dressed in vibrant attire and filled the campus with energy through dance and fun activities. They watched a short and engaging video on Baisakhi, which helped them understand the festival in a fun and visual way. The children enjoyed the music, colours and festive scenes and were excited to learn about how Baisakhi is celebrated.

Through this celebration, students not only enjoyed but also learned about the cultural and traditional importance of the festival. 🌾✨It was a beautiful blend of fun, learning and cultural awareness!

World Health Day

On the occasion of World Health Day, a Dental Healthcare Camp was organised for the students. All were made aware about the importance of good general health and oral health. Personal skills were developed among students for health promotion in relation to brushing, hand wash and healthy diet.

Also various physical fitness activities were conducted such as Taali Yoga, Zumba, Aerobics in which children enthusiastically took part making the celebration both educational and fun. Teachers guided children through an interactive story session on making healthy food choices and understanding the importance of nutrition.

First Play Date At School

Our Junior Wing warmly welcomed the little learners of Play Group, Balvatika 1 & Early Years 1 (Session 2026-27) on their First Play Date at school! The day was filled with smiles, excitement and new dreams as our tiny tots stepped into their “home away from home” with wonder in their eyes. 💖 The little ones were warmly welcomed with an auspicious tilak on their foreheads, marking a blessed start to their new journey. 🌸 It was an acclimatisation day where children enjoyed engaging activity sessions in the comforting presence of their parents. The parents expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the warm and nurturing environment. The vibrant décor, delightful popcorn cart, fun-filled classroom activities, adorable headgears and the lively Selfie Point made the day truly memorable for everyone! 🎈

On 30th March, 2026 we warmly welcomed the newly associated parents through an engaging and interactive session which was thoughtfully designed with fun-filled games, where parents participated with great enthusiasm and zeal, making the environment lively and joyful. This initiative aimed at building a strong foundation of trust and collaboration between parents and teachers, ensuring a smooth and happy transition for our young learners. The highlight of the event was the Taekwondo display, where young warriors mesmerized the audience with power-packed punches, lightning-fast kicks, and impressive self-defense techniques.

The daring tile-breaking act drew gasps and applause, reflecting the grit and confidence of the children.

The tiny tots came together to spread the powerful message of love, harmony, and unity.

The day began with children holding doves and peace symbols, sharing their thoughts through rhymes, songs, and dances.Their innocent voices highlighted the importance of kindness and friendship in everyday life.

The occasion was further brightened by the gracious presence of our Principal Ma’am, who applauded the efforts of the little learners. She emphasized that true peace begins with small acts of kindness and encouraged the children to nurture harmony in their daily lives.

Connecting the celebration with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the focus emphasized building peaceful and inclusive societies. To inspire them further, words of great Peace Ambassadors like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, and Malala Yousafzai were shared, reminding all that even small acts of goodness can create a big change.

As per the direction of Central Education Ministry, to mark the occasion of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi's 75th birthday a short movie 'Chalo Jeete Hain' based on his life incidents was screened, highlighting his journey of building character, selfless service and taking responsibility.

Children watched with excitement and learned values of selfless service, hard work and patriotism.

Teachers interacted with students after the screening, encouraging them to reflect on the lessons from his life and how they can apply them in their own small ways.

The day inspired young learners to dream big and serve the country with pride.

हिन्दी दिवस – एकता का उत्सव

डी एल डी ए वी मॉडल स्कूल, पीतमपुरा के जूनियर विंग में हिन्दी दिवस बड़े उत्साह और उल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर नन्हें-मुन्नें बच्चों ने विविध प्रस्तुतियों के माध्यम से हिन्दी भाषा की महिमा का बखान किया।

कविता वाचन –
