The students of the Junior Wing celebrated International Day of Yoga with enthusiasm, showcasing various Yoga poses and meditation. They were seen practicing several poses of Surya Namaskar and Pranayam to enhance their flexibility, focus and balance.

Mother's Day was celebrated with immense love and affection! Our talented students created heartfelt crafts, showcasing their deep love and gratitude for their moms. Each token of affection was a testament to the special bond between a mother and child. We're thrilled to have made this celebration so memorable!

Plants - Our Best Friends

Our little learners had a joyful time exploring the wonderful world of plants! Using magnifying glasses, children observed leaves, flowers and tiny details in nature with great curiosity. They watered the plants, touched different textures and explored the beautiful plants around the school campus. The activity encouraged observation, care for nature and hands-on learning in a fun way.

World Book Day

It was a magical World Book Day for our students as our little bookworms dressed up in impressive colourful characters from fantasy stories. Students came dressed as their favorite characters from fairy tales, picture books and famous stories. From Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood to Harry Potter, Peppa Pig, Tenali Raman and The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the campus turned into a lively storybook.

Teachers encouraged all children to read a little every day and explore new stories. The event aimed to spark a love for reading and help children connect with the magical world of books.

Earth Day

Earth Day was celebrated enthusiastically with engaging activities that helped young learners connect with nature and understand the need to protect our planet. Various activities were conducted such as Tree Plantation Drive, where little hands lovingly planted saplings in the nearby park, Earth Day Parade, Earth Headgear Making and Sorting Activity to help them identify everyday actions and items that harm our environment. At the end of the celebrations, all students took a pledge to save electricity, avoid plastic, plant more trees and keep their surroundings clean. The day helped every child understand that Our Power lies in everyday choices, and together we can protect Our Planet.

The day was filled with joy, creativity and a strong promise from our youngest learners to keep the Earth green and clean.

Mahatma Hansraj Day

The students at the junior wing reverently celebrated Mahatma Hansraj Day to honour the noble life and legacy of a true visionary. To instill these values in our young learners, an informative and inspiring presentation was shown to the students, helping them understand the profound contributions of this great soul.

World Heritage Day

The school enthusiastically celebrated World Heritage Day. To mark the celebrations, the students of Balvatika 3 and Class 1 visited ISKON Temple and embarked on an educational and spiritual journey, exploring India's rich cultural heritage. Through activities like coloring, placard making and PPT presentations, they gained a deeper appreciation for our nation's diverse traditions.

Foundation Day

The school proudly marked it's 46th Foundation Day with a vibrant array of activities, showcasing creativity and enthusiasm. To mark this special day, hawan was organised giving spiritual touch to the day. The children enthusiastically decorated their cards using bright colours, showing their creativity and excitement.

The event not only brought smiles to the children’s faces but also helped them learn the importance of togetherness and celebrating special occasions.

Baisakhi Celebrations

On the occasion of Baisakhi, our little stars came dressed in vibrant attire and filled the campus with energy through dance and fun activities. They watched a short and engaging video on Baisakhi, which helped them understand the festival in a fun and visual way. The children enjoyed the music, colours and festive scenes and were excited to learn about how Baisakhi is celebrated.

Through this celebration, students not only enjoyed but also learned about the cultural and traditional importance of the festival. 🌾✨It was a beautiful blend of fun, learning and cultural awareness!

World Health Day

On the occasion of World Health Day, a Dental Healthcare Camp was organised for the students. All were made aware about the importance of good general health and oral health. Personal skills were developed among students for health promotion in relation to brushing, hand wash and healthy diet.

Also various physical fitness activities were conducted such as Taali Yoga, Zumba, Aerobics in which children enthusiastically took part making the celebration both educational and fun. Teachers guided children through an interactive story session on making healthy food choices and understanding the importance of nutrition.

First Play Date At School

Our Junior Wing warmly welcomed the little learners of Play Group, Balvatika 1 & Early Years 1 (Session 2026-27) on their First Play Date at school! The day was filled with smiles, excitement and new dreams as our tiny tots stepped into their “home away from home” with wonder in their eyes. 💖 The little ones were warmly welcomed with an auspicious tilak on their foreheads, marking a blessed start to their new journey. 🌸 It was an acclimatisation day where children enjoyed engaging activity sessions in the comforting presence of their parents. The parents expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the warm and nurturing environment. The vibrant décor, delightful popcorn cart, fun-filled classroom activities, adorable headgears and the lively Selfie Point made the day truly memorable for everyone! 🎈

Orientation Programme & Curriculum Meet (Unit I) 2026-27

On 30th March, 2026 we warmly welcomed the newly associated parents through an engaging and interactive session which was thoughtfully designed with fun-filled games, where parents participated with great enthusiasm and zeal, making the environment lively and joyful. This initiative aimed at building a strong foundation of trust and collaboration between parents and teachers, ensuring a smooth and happy transition for our young learners. Our curious little learners had an exciting and educational visit to the Axis Bank today! The children got a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand how a bank works. They observed the ATM machine, the ‘May I Help You’ counter, and the cash counters where people deposit and withdraw money

They also learned about cheque deposits and saw how the bank safely keeps valuables in the locker section. It was a fun-filled, informative experience that helped them understand the importance of saving and managing money responsibly.

The Junior Wing of DL DAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA lit up with joy as we celebrated the birthdays of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji, the symbol of simplicity and integrity.

A beautifully designed Mini Gandhi Ashram recreated in the school premises gave children a glimpse of Bapu’s life, his charkha, and his timeless lessons of truth and non-violence.

Students also learned about Shastriji’s inspiring journey and his iconic call “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan”, reminding us of the strength of farmers and soldiers.

The second day of the KID-O-SPORT 2025 at DL DAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA JUNIOR WING began with unstoppable enthusiasm and youthful energy. The spotlight of the day was on Table Tennis, a sport that inspires sharp focus, speed, and discipline.

Our young paddlers showcased their skills with confident serves and swift rallies, filling the arena with cheers and excitement.

The highlight of the event was the Taekwondo display, where young warriors mesmerized the audience with power-packed punches, lightning-fast kicks, and impressive self-defense techniques.

The daring tile-breaking act drew gasps and applause, reflecting the grit and confidence of the children.

WORLD GRATITUDE DAY

Little Hearts, Big Thanks!

A special highlight was the beautifully decorated Gratitude Wall, where children pinned their handwritten notes of thanks, turning it into a colorful display of love and appreciation.

The celebration reached its peak when students presented little notes of thanks to their teachers and school helpers, filling the atmosphere with joy and positivity.

The day beautifully conveyed that Gratitude is the best attitude, nurturing kindness and thankfulness in young hearts.

International Day of Peace

The tiny tots came together to spread the powerful message of love, harmony, and unity.

The day began with children holding doves and peace symbols, sharing their thoughts through rhymes, songs, and dances.Their innocent voices highlighted the importance of kindness and friendship in everyday life.

The occasion was further brightened by the gracious presence of our Principal Ma’am, who applauded the efforts of the little learners. She emphasized that true peace begins with small acts of kindness and encouraged the children to nurture harmony in their daily lives.

Connecting the celebration with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the focus emphasized building peaceful and inclusive societies. To inspire them further, words of great Peace Ambassadors like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, and Malala Yousafzai were shared, reminding all that even small acts of goodness can create a big change.

The celebration concluded with a pledge to nurture peace in thoughts, words, and actions.

Together we stand, for peace across the land.

Little hearts, big dreams — inspired by a great leader!

As per the direction of Central Education Ministry, to mark the occasion of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi's 75th birthday a short movie 'Chalo Jeete Hain' based on his life incidents was screened, highlighting his journey of building character, selfless service and taking responsibility.

Children watched with excitement and learned values of selfless service, hard work and patriotism.

Teachers interacted with students after the screening, encouraging them to reflect on the lessons from his life and how they can apply them in their own small ways.

The day inspired young learners to dream big and serve the country with pride.

हिन्दी दिवस – एकता का उत्सव

डी एल डी ए वी मॉडल स्कूल, पीतमपुरा के जूनियर विंग में हिन्दी दिवस बड़े उत्साह और उल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर नन्हें-मुन्नें बच्चों ने विविध प्रस्तुतियों के माध्यम से हिन्दी भाषा की महिमा का बखान किया।

कविता वाचन –

बच्चों ने मधुर स्वर में मनमोहक हिन्दी कविताएँ सुनाईं। उनकी आत्मीयता और आत्मविश्वास ने सभी का मन मोह लिया।

दोहा वाचन –

बच्चों ने दोहों का सुंदर वाचन किया। उनके स्पष्ट उच्चारण और सरल व्याख्या ने श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।

इन प्रस्तुतियों से बच्चों में हिन्दी भाषा के प्रति प्रेम और सम्मान की भावना प्रबल हुई तथा उनके भाषण और प्रस्तुति कौशल में भी निखार आया।

यह कार्यक्रम इस बात का सजीव प्रमाण था कि हिन्दी केवल एक भाषा नहीं, बल्कि हम सबको जोड़ने वाली एकता की डोर है।

International Literacy Day Celebration – Spreading the Light of Learning

We, in collaboration with an NGO Laughing Home for disabled celebrated International Literacy Day with great enthusiasm and purpose. The day began with engaging talks by teachers highlighting the importance of reading, writing, and education in shaping a brighter future.

In a heartwarming gesture, students came forward to donate stationery items including notebooks, pencils, crayons, and erasers which were handed over to the NGO for distribution among underprivileged children. This thoughtful contribution reflected the true essence of the day – spreading knowledge and empowering lives.

The celebration not only reinforced the significance of literacy but also instilled the values of sharing and compassion among our young learners.

Guiding Lights, Shining Bright

With twinkling eyes and happy smiles, our students turned the campus into a garden of gratitude this Teachers’ Day.

Children danced, sang, and shared heartfelt lines that melted every teacher’s heart.

Handmade cards, flowers, and warm hugs filled the air with joy. The celebration echoed one beautiful truth – _a teacher’s impact lasts a lifetime.

79th Independence Day

The Junior wing of DL DAV MODEL SCHOOL ,PITAMPURA came alive with patriotism and pride as we celebrated the 79th Independence Day in grand style.

The day began with the tricolour unfurling high and the entire premises echoing with the National Anthem.

Our little patriots stole the show with energetic dances, soulful patriotic songs, and a thought provoking street play on India’s freedom struggle.

Dressed in bright hues of saffron, white, and green, the children looked like walking tricolours, spreading joy and love for the nation.

The highlight was the energetic march-past by our tiny tots, followed by cheers of “Jai Hind!” filling the air.

The celebration ended on a sweet note with a promise to be responsible and proud citizens of our beloved country.

JAI KANHAIYA LAL KI...

The Junior Wing of DL DAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA, sparkled with devotion and joy as children celebrated Janmashtami with colourful dances, soulful bhajans, and a charming Krishna Leela.

Dressed as little Krishnas and Radhas, our tiny stars won every heart.

Enactment of Krishna Leela delighted everyone and filled the air with the cheers of “Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki!”.

It was a day of cultural learning, joy and togetherness, leaving a lasting impression on the young minds.

CELEBRATING THE BOND OF LOVE

We celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great joy and enthusiasm . The celebration aimed to help the little ones understand the essence of this beautiful festival which strengthens the bond of love between brothers and sisters.

Children actively participated in rakhi-making activities, using craft materials like paper, beads, sequins, and threads.

Kids were dressed in traditional attire, adding charm to the celebration.

The Rakhi celebration was not only a fun-filled event but also a wonderful opportunity to teach children values like love, respect, and unity.

A Heartwarming Morning at TP Block

The junior brigade of *DLDAV Model the School residing in the nearby locality, visited Central Park, TP Block this morning to extend a warm welcome to the Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Rekha Gupta.

Our little ones greeted her with handmade cards, rose buds, and a heartfelt chant of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” showcasing their innocence, patriotism and love. The residents of the locality deeply appreciated the children’s sweet gesture and the values they reflected.
