The Kindergarten Wing of DL DAV Model School, Pitampura provides a joyful, nurturing and value-enriched learning environment for young children. We follow the Experiential and Exploratory Developmental Programme (EEDP) designed by DAVCAE, which focuses on holistic growth through hands-on, inquiry-based and play-oriented learning experiences. The programme encourages children to observe, explore, communicate and create, ensuring the development of essential early literacy, numeracy, motor, social and emotional skills. Our classrooms are warm, child-centered spaces where curiosity is celebrated and every child learns at their own pace. Vision of DAV Early Education Development Programme(EEDP) The Foundational years (3-8 years) are critical for holistic development of the child in terms of important domains of linguistic, cognitive, motor, creative and socio-emotional development. Neglect of these crucial developmental domains in early childhood may lead to a life-long paucity in the related skills and behaviours which affect their personality and performance in later years. Hence, we need a curriculum that is multi-faceted, play-oriented, discovery-based and experiential, and which develops all aspects of the learner’s personality. Progression Matrix - ages 3 to 8 As per the new academic structure proposed by NEP 2020, the progression matrix for ages 3 to 8 (Foundational Stage) is as follows: DAV’s EEDP- Early Education Development Programme Note : The DAV curriculum from LKG to II will remain the same as earlier.
