About Me

     Hello! My name is Mrs. Skar. This is my 13th year teaching at DLBE. This is my 3rd year in 4th grade and I am SO excited. I taught 2nd grade for ten years before moving to 4th grade! 

​ I grew up in Bismarck, ND with my parents, two younger sisters and a younger brother.  I attended Saint Mary's Central High School and graduated from Minot State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education, Reading & Math Credentials in 2010. I also attended University of North Dakota and the University of Mary. My husband, TJ, and I were married in May of 2010. We have two children, a daughter, Oakleigh, who is in 6th grade and a son, Beckem, who is in 2nd grade. 

    My family and I love to spend family time outdoors and at the lake. We love on cheering on the Denver Broncos. 🏈💙🧡 We also love cheering on our DLB LAKERS! 💙❤️⚓️
