Emerson's schoolwide instruction includes the entire instructional staff utilizing AVID strategies, other best instructional practices, and 21st century tools to ensure college readiness for AVID Elective students and improved academic performance for all students.

EJH will increase to 50% the number of teachers who are WICOR trained AND at least 50% of teachers throughtout EJH routinely use WICOR strategies in AVID Elective, AVID Site Team instructed and core academic classes.

- Under 50% of our staff is WICOR trained.
- We don't have a baseline data established with evidence for use of WICOR strategies outside AVID Elective, AVID Site Team instructed classes.

- Staff meetings will include PD on WICOR training activities as determined by PD sign ups, survey responses.
- Staff will attend SCOE PATH trainings and Summer Institute.
- WICOR use awards will be created to show support for WICOR bulletin boards, collection of evidence and WICOR winner signs.
