Basketball

Basketball is open to 6th, 7th & 8th graders (boys & girls).  Miller Creek participates in the Marin County Middle School Basketball League.  Tryouts take place late November or early December.  Teams are announced shortly after, practices may start early December, games first week in January.  Typically, 12-14 players are selected for each team.  Practices are TBD but can be after school in our gym, 1-2 times per week.  Games are also after school, 6-8 games per season; 6th grade teams play Tuesdays, 7th grade teams play Wednesdays, 8th grade teams play on Thursdays.  Games can be home or away at 4pm or 5pm.  Players will need to coordinate their own rides for away games as Miller Creek School District does not provide transportation.  Coaches can be MCMS teachers, established Club coaches, parents and/or volunteers.
